About the Destination Australia Scholarship
Destination Australia Scholarship is an Australian Government initiative designed to encourage students to study in regional Australia. Moreover, the Commonwealth of Australia offers the scholarship as part of the International Education Support program to support domestic and international students who wish to enroll in a degree program at Flinders University or any other participating Australian University.

Furthermore, the Commonwealth of Australia will provide the Destination Australia Scholarship recipients with the following inclusions.
There will be 12 scholarships available to domestic students and 2 for international students. Meanwhile, scholarships will be valued at $15,000 per annum for the duration of the recipient’s program, up to a maximum of three years.

Eligibility Requirements for the Destination Australia Scholarship

- Applicants must be commencing a bachelor’s degree at the Riverland campus of Flinders University; and
- Also, an applicant must maintain ongoing residency in a regional area as defined by the 2016 Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure from the Australian Bureau of Statistics; and
- Applicants must also be enrolled full-time.

- Applicants who will relocate to the Riverland region to undertake their study will be given preference
- Students who demonstrate financial need will also be given preference
